Each database module contains all of the data fields in the FRA master database. Using IGRS, you can perform powerful queries to quickly assemble a list of accidents or injuries sharing common characteristics. For example:
"Give me a list of all accidents that occurred in the State of Texas at crossings with crossbucks only between the hours of 6:00PM and 8:00AM involving passenger trains traveling 70 MPH or higher, in which vegetation was found to be a factor."

Figure 2: When using
IGRS, you're never alone. Powerful, context-sensitive Help is just
a click away. This figure shows the opening screen of the IGRS Help
file, Context-sensitive Help can be accessed at any time by simply
clicking the data field that you would like more information about, and
pressing the "F1" key.
Figure 3: IGRS extends your capabilities by exporting user-specified subsets of records to common database and spreadsheet formats. Using this feature, you can subtotal and/or graph data using the database or spreadsheet package that you're most comfortable with.
